Ultimately, no matter how prepared we are, eventually we all die.  That is bad news, but there is good news – the best news there has ever been!  You have probably heard of the Gospel before.  Gospel means “good news!”  Jesus Christ was born, lived a perfect life without sin, was wrongly convicted and died a horrendous death, but defeated death and rose again.  Jesus defeated death and invites us to join Him with eternal life that is far better and far more real than this life.  Salvation is free for us!  It cost Jesus a lot, but He invites us to join Him and it is His free gift to us.  We have to accept this gift and live for Jesus, but we do not have to jump through any hoops or do a certain amount of good things.  We should do good works as a result of being saved, but it not a prerequisite to being saved – is it a reaction. We invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life.
